Random Friday - Water the Flowers

What comes to your mind when you look at a garden?

Do you mostly see the weeds that need to be pulled, the plants that need to be replaced or the spots where something needs to be planted?

Or do you see the beauty of the flowers and shrubs, enjoy the casualness and spontaneity of it?

We have a choice when it comes to look at the world surrounding us. We can see the "deficiencies" in a garden or appreciate it's delightfulness as it mirrors nature itself.

Judgmental, who me?

Seeing deficiencies often indicates we are being judgmental over things, actions or people not meeting our own expectations. How does it make you feel? Does it need to be that way?

English Gardens are opposite to Jardins à la Française. But both are exquisite.

Give yourself a break, water the flowers and don't mind so much the weeds. It is a gift of acceptance of what is, including acceptance of oneself.

To your spirit. Have a great week-end,

Patricia
