The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People
A couple of years ago, Stephen R. Covey wrote a book called "The 7 habits of highly effective people". Thought I'd share a little summary of this book with you today, as some of its principles may help for improving your life.
Habit 1: Be Proactive
Change starts from within - Improve your life through the things you can influence rather than simply react to external forces
Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
Know where you want to be at right from the start.
Habit 3: Put First Things First
Identify key roles that you take in your life and make time for each of them.
Habit 4: Think Win/Win
Mutually benificial for you and others.
Habit 5: Seek first to Understand, then to be Understood
Put yourself in the perspective of the other person.
Habit 6: Synergize
Mostly through communication, create a whole that is greater than the sum of it's parts
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
Maintain a balance among physical, mental, social/emotional and spiritual dimensions.
Have a wonderful day:)
